     人教版年级下册英语Unit 2  Ill help to clean up the city parks.Section A 2a-2d学设计科目英语年级八(下)备课时间2023.2.16单元主题听说训练课型 听说课版本人教版教学目标 语言能力:1. 学生能够熟练掌握并学会运用本单元的重点词汇、短语和句型。2. 学生能够掌握情态动词couldshould的用法,并对别人的建议作出评价。学习能力:1. 学生能根据听力训练正确掌握听力的技巧和方法。学生能在情境教学中训练和提高口语表达。 思维品质:通过小组合作和角色扮演增进学生的团队合作精神。文化品格:培养学生乐于助人的良好品质。  教学重难点 1. 学会提供帮助的基本句型。2. 掌握情态动词(could/should)的用法。3. 能够掌握并运用听力的技巧和方法。4. 能够树立助人为乐的幸福观。 教学资源及工具 资源名称    获取或制作途径课文音频    教材配套光盘导入视频    网站下载  教材解读    本节课选自人教版八年级下册Unit 2。该课时以听说训练为主,主要谈论志愿者工作,旨在呈现、学习不同援助方式的英语表述,并通过听、说练习完成词汇的学习和巩固。学情分析本单元的话题是援助与关爱,是学生喜欢的助人为乐的话题,学生有话可说。在课堂设计上,力求活泼,创造情景,让学生表演展示。通过本单元的学习,了解社会上有很多人需要我们的帮助,奉献爱心并不是多么伟大的壮举,而是首先自己要真正拥有一颗爱心,如此便可从身边的点点滴滴做起。让学生明白我为人人,人人为我的道理。本 课 教 学 过 程 设 计个案修改Step 1 Warming up1.播放歌曲视频I Can Help,通过询问他们以下问题来导入本堂课的话题:志愿者。T: Who are they?SThey’re volunteers. They usually volunteer to help others.  T: How could we help people?S1: We could clean up the parksS2: We could help sick people in the hospital.S3: We could help plant trees.2.展示教师本人的志愿者活动照片,通过分享来导入本堂课的情感态度:乐于助人。【设计意图】以图片和问题导入,激发学生的好奇心和兴趣,以此引入本堂课的话题。 Step 2 Presentation1. Look at the pictures that teacher could help others.2. Ss discuss with their partners and write the ways one could help others:  ① Help to plant trees by the river.   ② Help to clean up the city park.    ③ Visit the old people in the old people’s home.    ④ Help young kids to learn English.  1. Let’s read the dialogue and the signs together. (教师在学生齐读的时候在黑板上板书重点词组clean up the city parksvisit the sick children in the hospital   help stop hunger 并在学生读完后解析这些词组。)Then ask, “What other ways could you help people? Write your answers in your book.(教师可以四处走动,以帮助学生改正错误,或者提供帮助。) (动词词组是这节的重点,所以鼓励学生多说出动词短语出来,把重要的板书在黑板上,并反复朗读操练。)【设计意图】在volunteer这个背景下,操练了很多的动词词组后学生已经对这节的话题比较熟悉,所以产生了想要看看别人是怎么做的想法,带着好奇的心理进入听力部分。 Step 3 Listening (1b)1. T: Tell Ss to read the sentences in the chart. Make sure they know the meaning of the sentences.2. 1b. Play the recording for the Ss to listen and number the ways the boy and girl could help others. The girl could visit the sick kids in the hospital to cheer them up. The boy could give out food at the food bank.The girl could volunteer in an after-school study program to teach kids.The boy could help to clean up the city parks.  3.  Check Ss’ answers.4. Have Ss listen again and repeat the conversations.5. Have Ss read the sentences as a class.6. According to the listening, have Ss identify ways to express hope and to offer help.【设计意图】原听力任务比较简单,这里加入一个听并填空,加深了难度,让学生能更多的注意到听力的细节加深对听力的了解。 Step 4 Listening (2a&2b)T: Just now we talked about how to help others on Volunteer Day and you really did very good job. Now, here are a group of students planning a City Park Clean-up Day.在黑板上板书a City Park Clean-up Day 并注释城市公园清洁日Then ask Ss, “What are some ways you can do to tell people about it?S1: ...【设计意图】作为前后两个听力的过渡,和2a听力的引入。T: A group of students are planning a City Park Clean-up Day. Listen and check (√) the things they are going to do to tell people about it.1. Look at the pictures in 2a. Discuss the things they are going to do.2. Play the recording for the Ss to listen and check the pictures.3. Play the recording again to check the answers.4. Let Ss read the sentences below. Explain some main sentences for the Ss.  Make sure they know what to do.5. Play the recording for the Ss to write the correct words in the blanks.(1). Read the conversation after the tape.4. Read the conversation and fill in the blanks.5. Practice the conversation with their partner. Then let some pairs to act out the conversation.【设计意图】听回答问题填空知识点,通过这几个环节彻底让学生明2d部分所有内容。 Step 6 Group workImagine an activity or an event.
