Warming up

T：Teacher leads students to review.

S：Sing an Apple song and talk freely.

[设计意图] 帮助学生调整情绪，做好学习新内容的准备。

Presentation

T：Teacher plays a short video for students to watch and enjoy.

S：Watch a short video and feel how the letter U makes sound.

T: Teacher leads students to learn new words.

S: Learn new words after the teacher. Then students read and find how the letter U makes sound. Next, students listen, repeat and chant.

T: Teacher plays the record.

S: Listen and number. Then try to read more words with letter U in them. Finally, they watch the short video and learn to write new words without looking at textbooks.

T: Teacher leads students to read and understand a new story.

S: Learn to read and understand the new story.

[设计意图] 通过让学生在学习新单词拼读规律的过程“抓取”单词的方式，呈现语音例词，从而培养学生认真倾听及在听的过程中抓住关键词汇的能力。通过增加绘本故事，帮助学生增强利用自然拼读规律学习新单词的信心。

教学反思

Advantages:由于小学生模仿能力比较强，喜欢表现自己，在教学中，教师可大量地运用肢体语言、动作演示等形式来传授知识，让学生在做一做、演一演等活动中轻松地学习知识。

Disadvantages: 绘本故事表演部分对学生的鼓励不够。

Advice: 教师应该学会使用夸张的表情和肢体语言来辅助理解故事内容。
