    一、教学内容分析

    本节课所涉及到的电视节目内容是学生十分感兴趣的话题。通过多种多样电视节目的呈现,让学生学会用英语表达电视节目。然后引导学生运用即将要学习的句型谈论对所呈现的电视节目的看法,如:What kind of TV show do you like ? I like it. I dont mind it. I cant stand it.等等。

    通过本节课的学习学生能运用所学的语言知识对影视作品进行简单的评价,培养了学生运用英语语言知识进行交际对话能力及书面表达能力。

    二、教学目标

    I. Knowledge goals(知识目标):

    1. Master the following new words and phrases:

    Sitcom, news, mind, stand, talk show, soup opera

        2. Grasp some pattern sentences:

          (1) What do you think of talk shows?

          (2) I dont mind them. 

          (3) I cant stand them.

    II. Teaching process and methods:

        1. Teachingprocess :Simly presentation- Practice (Teamwork)-Production

        2. Teaching methods: Cooperative group learning and autonomous learning

    II. Ability goals(能力目标):

    1. Say TV shows in English;    

    2. Talk about likes or dislikes; .

    III. Emotional goals(情感目标): Watch some educational TV shows.

    、教学策略选择与设计

    1、首先通过图片呈现,让学生学习电视节目的英语表达,并鼓励学生说出更多电视节目。

    2、句型训练是本节课的重头戏,该环节笔者将设计若干各电视节目画面,在教师的帮助下,通过学生的自主学习及小组合作式学习来实现重点句型的学习和掌握。其过程为:初步输入 —— 进一步输入—— 初步输出 —— 进一步输出。

    3、小组合作学习是本节课的主要学习形式,教师在大屏幕上呈现有关电视节目片断,个小组运用所学的句型进行对话训练,同组学生互帮互助,共同完成学习任务。鼓励每组派代表展示他们的任务完成情况。表扬表现出色的小组。

    4、依然采用小组合作学习形式,完成教师布置的写作任务。运用所学的语言知识写一段有关电视节目的个人感受。各小组成员完成自己的初稿,小组互改,个人修订,最后每组派代表呈现自己的作品。教师对优秀作品给以表扬。

    5、在设计学习任务时,笔者将要照顾不同层次的学生尤其是学困生,让学困生也能参与到学习活动中来,享受获取成功的快乐。

    Stage 1  Leading in

     Show some pictures of TV shows. SayPlease guess what kind of TV shows they are.

    Students voluntear to give their answers.

    Lead the students to list out some TV shows.

    Stage 2  Presentation

    Show the TV shows in both English and Chinese on the screen:

    Say: Please read the TV shows.

    Cover the TV shows in English. Encourage students to say them in English according to the Chinese expressions. Praise the students who do very well.

    Students read the words and expressions.

    Students voluntear to read them.

     

     

    Help them to grasp more TV shows.

    Stage 3  Practice

    Task1Match the TV shows with the pictures [a-g].

    Students look at the pictures in 1a by themselves. Have a volunteer say his /her answers.

    The answers are: 1.e  2.d  3.b  4.c  5.a  6.g  7.f

    Task2Listen and number the shows [1-4] in the order.

    Students listen to the recording in 1b and number the shows.

    The answers are: 3 1 4 2

    Students work in groups. They dicuss and try to give answers.

    Students volunteer to give their answer.

    Go over the TV shows to help the students to grasp them.

    Stage 4  Presentation

    1. Show five kinds of faces (1-5) and the English meanings(a-e).

    2. Encourage the class to guess the meanings of the faces and the English words. Match the faces with the English meanings.

    3. Help to solve some problems:

    (1) mind  介意, 在乎(接名词,代词或动名词)

    e.g. Would you mind opening the door?

     Do you mind my dog?

    (2)cantstand (无法)忍受

    e.g. I can’t stand soap operas.

    All of us can’t stand waiting for the bus too long.

    1Students lookat the faces and try to match them with the English meanings.

    2Students volunteer to say  more sentences.

    In order to help the class to master some useful expressions.

    Stage 5  Practice

    Task3Pair work.

     Show some pictures of TV shows with different faces. Encourage students to ask and answer in pairs.

    Praise the best performers.

    A: What do you think of shows? /How do you likeshows?

    B: I love / like / dont mind / dont like / cant stand them.

    A: What does he / she think of shows?/How does he / she like?

    B: He / She loves / likes / doesnt mind / doesnt like / cant stand them.

    Help the class to grasp the words and expressions.Improve their speaking ability.

    Stage 6  Production

    1. Task4Free talk

    Talk with each other about what the students think of TV shows and the reasons. Encourage them to enlarge their topics.

    Offer them any help if they need.

    Praise the good performers.

    2.Task5Writing

    Write articles about what the students think of TV shows.

    (1) Let them write articles using the knowledge theyve grasped.

    Walk around and offer any help.

    (2) Have some volunteers show their work.

    Praise the students who volunteer and do the best.

    1. Students work in groups.

    They talk about the TV shows.

    Each pair from groups show their work.

    2. First students work in group. They write articles by themselves. Then they correct each other articles.

    Students from each group read their articles.

    Stage 7  Homework

    1. Go over the TV shows .

    2. Search more TV shows on the Internet .
