一般过去时的综合运用，有动词过去形式的正确使用，动词过去形式有规则变化和不规则变化，规则变化有4种情况，不规则变化要特殊记忆。还有句型结构肯定句、否定句、一般疑问句和特殊疑问句的正确使用，在句型使用过程中要考虑动词的正确形式还要考虑句子的类型，到初三复习阶段，学生要掌握的动词有很多，各种句型结构也有很多，容易混淆。

从学生角度分析为什么难

到初三复习阶段，学生要掌握的动词有很多，各种句型结构也有很多，容易混淆各种时态中动词的正确使用，加上有部分同学单词量掌握不够，在面对句子的时候不能正确判断句子的时态和结构，造成学习上的难度。

难点教学方法

1. 通过英语版本寓言故事的引入，激发学生的兴趣，引出本课知识点“一般过去时”。
2. 知识点归类，便于学生快速记忆和掌握动词过去形式的规则变化和不规则变化。
3. 举例示范，让学生通过视频中给出的示例掌握“一般过去时”的 句型结构。

Read and find the tense of this story.

Farmer and the snake

It was a cold winter day. A farmer found a snake on the ground . It was nearly dead by cold .The farmer was a kind man. He picked up the snake carefully and put it under the coat. Soon the snake began to move and it raised its mouth and bit  the farmer.  “Oh , My god!” said the farmer. “I save your life, but you thank me in that way. You must die.” He killed the snake with a stick. At last, he died, too.

一般过去时:  Past tense

1.概念: 表示过去发生的动作或存在的状态

2.时间状语为：

yesterday,... ago, in 1992, last week/month/year,  in the past…

3.动词-ed形式的构成（规则变化）：

4.不规则变化   熟记初中阶段不规则变化动词

4. 一般过去时--句型结构

(1)含有be动词的需要把 am, is变 was, are 变 were.

肯定句：      主语+ was/ were +其他

    否定句 ：        主语+ wasn’t / weren’t +其他

    一般疑问句       Was/ Were +主语+ 其他？

    特殊疑问句

    特殊疑问词+was/ were +主语+ 其他？

例如：

Jenny was a good student three years ago.  肯定句

Jenny wasn’t a good student three years ago. 否定句

Was Jenny a good student three years ago?  一般疑问句

Why was Jenny a good student three years ago?特殊疑问句

(2)含有实意动词的情况

肯定句：          主语+Ved+其他；

否定句 ：         主语+ didn’t +V原+其他；

一般疑问句      Did+主语+V原+其他？

特殊疑问句       特殊疑问词+did+主语+V原+其他？

例如：

She finished her homework yesterday.     肯定句

She didn’t  finish her homework yesterday.否定句

Did she finish her homework yesterday?    一般疑问句

When  did she finish her homework yesterday?    特殊疑问句
