·Reduce

If you want to reduce waste, you should use things wisely (明智的). A large number of trees are being cut down to make paper. ·Reuse

    Our living environment is being polluted faster than before and it seems nobody can prevent it. Time brings us more people, and more people bring us more industry, more cars, larger cities and growing use of man-made materials.

How can we understand and solve this problem? The fact is that pollution is caused by man —by his desire (欲望）for a modem way of life. So we are often ready to offer everything: clean water, good food, our health and the future of our children.  Air pollution is one of the most common types of pollution in the world nowadays. It is quite serious in many places, especially in big cities. It can do great harm to our environment such as making the earth warmer, causing acid rain or destroying the ozone layer. As for human beings, air pollution causes all kinds of breathing problems.

    All over the world in the twenty-first century, people can get new energy in many ways.

Energy from the wind. People use the power of the wind．It is a clean source(来源) of energy, and there is lots of it. However, if the wind does not blow, there is no wind energy.

How to protect the environment has become one of the biggest problems in the world. There are many kinds of pollutions around us, such as air pollution, noise pollution, water pollution and light pollution. We can find that rubbish not only pollutes our environment but also harms people's health. So we should not throw rubbish everywhere. Some factories pour waste water into the rivers and the lakes. The behavior of these factories will pollute the water, and sometimes it can kill the fish living in them.
