1. not only… but also…不但……而且……

Not only do people spread them around in different hiding places for an egg hunt, but they also give out these treats as gifts.人们不禁会把鸡蛋分散地藏在不同的地方来玩寻蛋游戏，而且还会把它们作为礼物分发出去。

句中的not only ... but (also) ... 意为“不但……而且……”。当not only位于句首时，其后的主谓要部分倒装。此外，当not only ... but (also) ... 连接两个代词或名词作主语时，谓语动词要与but (also)后的代词或名词在数上保持一致。如：

1)Not only he but also I am wrong. 不仅是他，而且我也错了。

2) Not only books but also water is needed. 不仅是书籍，水也是必需的！
