Yesterday I had this feeling of wanting to fish by the St. Louis river. As I got to the river bank, I saw two pairs of married couples fishing. In 2021, new research suggested that nearly half of American teenagers said they used the Internet almost without stopping. The study also found that teens who said they were online almost all the time rose from 24 percent in 2015 to 46 percent. A quarter of teens who used Snapchat or TikTok said they used these apps almost without stopping, and a fifth of teen YouTube users said the same, the study said. The research found that teen boys were more likely than teen girls to use YouTube. Teen girls were more interested in using TikTok, Instagram and Snapchat.

To start with, research suggests regular exercise can help make people’s body strong. It helps cut down on the number of different diseases people face each year. We went in and soon filled our cart (手推车) with food and his presents. Then we walked towards the self-checkout machines. I hated using them. I much preferred to chat with the friendly cashiers, but the line there was that long and I just didn’t have the time.
As I pulled my cart up, I heard the man at the machine next to me complaining under his breath, trying his hardest not to lose his temper. He only had a few things but every time he put his well-worn twenty dollar bill into the machine, it spit it back out (退回). And the shoppers behind us started to become restless.
