1. in your dreams

你做梦，你妄想。

例：You will become a football star in your dreams.

你妄想成为一名足球明星。

2. so--that 如此---以至于

例：I’m so good that I should be in Hollywood instead.

我是如此的棒以至于应该在好莱坞发展。

so---that 引导结果状语从句，so是副词，与形容词或副词连词。

其结构是：

so+adj./adv.+that从句。

例：He ran so fast that I couldn’t catch up with him.

他跑的如此快以至于我赶不上他。

3. romantic  adj. 浪漫的

比较级/最高级：

more/most romantic

例：romantic film 爱情电影

4. western  n. 

西部电影；西部小说

          adj.西方的，西部的  western countries西方的国家

in a western style

以西方的一种形式

5. industry  n.工业，产业

  industries(复数)

例：the film industry 电影业

with the development of industry

 随着工业的发展

6.such...that....如此...以至于...

such…that…引导四种不同的句子结构：

1. such+a(n)+形容词+单数名词+that从句。如：

This is such a good book that all of us like it very much. 这是一本很好的书，我们都喜欢读。

2. such+形容词+复数名词+that从句。如：

He had such long arms that he could almost touch his knees.

他胳膊很长，几乎就能够到膝盖。

3. such+（形容词）+不可数名词+that从句，例如：

The book is written in such easy English that beginners can understand it.

这本书是用简单的英语写成的，连初学者都能看懂。

注意：so...that...和such…that…两种句型可以进行同义转换。有时可以在不变更原意的前提下，将两者加以转换，以使语言变得更加丰富多彩。

例如：她非常诚实，大家都信赖她。

She is so honest that everybody trusts her.

→She is such an honest girl everybody trusts her.

7.storyteller  (n.) 讲故事的人

8.script  (n.) 剧本

1.all--time (adj.) 一向的；空前的

Sales of Russian vodka have reached an all-time (空前的) high.

2.actress  (n.) 女演员 

(pl.) actresses

  actress 是由“act(表演)+后缀-tress”构成。后缀-tress表示女性或雌性。

  与actress类似的词：waiter(男服务员)--waitress(女服务员)  host(男主人)---hostess(女主人)

  prince(王子)---princess(公主)

insist +that从句

insist on sth / doing
