2.让学生养成善于观察,动手动脑的习惯,培养学生对昆虫的兴趣和对大自然的热爱之情.
3.进一步教学自然拼读法,培养学生举一反三的拼读能力.
4.培养学生初步读写的能力和习惯.
【教学重点】
1.本课所学昆虫类单词及正确发音,词义及拼读,特别是body, a pair of wings的发音.
2.对昆虫特征的描述.
3.较熟练地运用自然拼读的法则拼读单词.
【教学难点】
培养学生初步读写的能力和习惯.
【教学过程】
Ⅰ.
1.师生常规问候.
2.值日生作duty report.
3.复习前面所学内容.
Ⅱ.Listen and number the dialogues
1.阅读练习中的句子,理解其大意.
2.听音,排序.
3.再听,检测答案.
Ⅲ.Listen write and chant
Meet and Say Hello.
1.教师让学生根据插图理解单词的大意和小诗内容,预测所缺词汇.
2.听录音,关注单词“燕子”和“小伙子”的发音,并根据所提供的词尝试完成小诗.
3.核对答案,并作适当解释.
T: What's this? (出示燕子和小男孩的图片)

T: Swallow.
T: Good. Look at this fellow. 小伙子 What's he doing?
PS: He's saying hello to the swallow.
T: Good! he meets the swallow and says hello to it. Here is the third picture. What's in the house?
Ps: A mouse and two cows.
T: That's right. A mouse and two cows. P1 and P2 please ask and answer the question based on picture 2.
P1: What's on the box?
P2: A fox and two cocks.
T: Super! Who'd like to try the fourth one?
P3: Where are the dragonfly and the butterfly?
P4: They are in the sky.
P3: What are they doing?
P4: They are flying.
T: Very good! Now let's learn Meet and Say Hello. First listen to the tape and put the right word in the brackets.
4.教师领读,学生跟读.
5.把每一句的对应图片帖在黑板上,让学生根据图片复述句子.
6.教师可将全班分成若干个五人小组,各组每人一句共同完成对小诗的记忆.说得又快又好的小组获胜.

T: Is the butterfly beautiful?

T: But how can we keep it?
PS: 制成标本.
T: Right. We can make an insect specimen. Specimen ,do you know its meaning?

T: Good! Do you know how to make an insect specimen?

T: First we should… (做捕蝴蝶的动作)
Ps: 捕蝴蝶.
T: Right First find an insect. (边说边把捕蝴蝶的图片贴在黑板上). Then we'll find a cardboard. What should we do next?
Ps: 把它固定在板子上.
T: Yes fix the insect. The next step is to seal it. (边说边做动作,并把对应的图片贴在黑板上)What's the last step?
Ps: 做标记.
T: Good! At last we should label something about the insect on the specimen. Can you tell me what they are?
请学生说标记的内容,以蝴蝶标本为例填在书上.

T: You are so clever. Here we make a butterfly specimen. Let's fill it in book.
教授此部分内容时,教师还可以让学生先分组讨论制作标本的步骤,然后引导学生根据讨论内容整理上述四个步骤,最后可布置学生回去制作一个标本并用英语写好标记,下次可带到课堂上评比.
