Learning aims(学习目标)
知识目标:1. Review the words and sentences of this unit.
2. Learn the new words and phrase: need, enough, put back.
能力目标:To understand the story and use the sentences in daily life.
情感目标:1. Try to make a plan before action.
2. Don’t waste the food and water, because many people don’t have enough food or water.
3. Put back the things after use.
Important &difficult points(重难点)
Key points: 1. To review the sentence pattern:“We have …on …”.
2. To grasp the new sentence pattern: I need …….
Difficult points: 1. The new sentences:I need to do some shopping.
We don’t have enough money.

2. To act out the story.
Step1 : Warm-up(情知引发)
- Greetings:
T: Boys and girls, can you tell me what day is it today?
Ss: Today is _____.
T: Oh, yeah, thank you! What do you have on …?
Ss: We have …and English.
T: Emm, do you like English?
Ss: …….
- 聚光灯猜词(集中注意力):
T: Look, which word is it? / How about this one? ……
学生抢答。
T: What’s this?
Ss: Chant! It’s a chant.
T: You are so clever! Do you like it?
Ss: Yes!
T: Let’s chant.
3. Chant together:
Monday, Monday, math on Monday.
Tuesday, Tuesday, art on Tuesday.
Wednesday, Wednesday, computers on Wednesday.
Thursday, Thursday, P.E. on Thursday.
Friday, Friday, my favourite day!
Step 2. Lead-in(情知体验)
- T: Crazy! You make me feel hot. I feel hot. I need a fan. Do you have a fan?
S: …….
T: Oh, I need a fan. You don’t have fans, so I need to do some shopping.
通过创设情景学习感知新词need,让学生猜出其意思,再利用白板中的英汉词典学习单词need。
T: I need to do some shopping. Who wants to go with me?
通过模拟欢乐购物场景,结果付款时拿出现金发现钱不够,自然引出难句“We don’t have enough money.”学生领会其意并猜测新词enough的意思,利用白板中英汉词典学习新词enough。
2.呈现故事的第一幅图,学生可以看出故事主角Zip和Zoom也在购物,顺势让学生运用新词need来猜一猜他们需要些什么东西。(初步感知,提问设疑)
Step 3. Presentation(情知内化)
- Watch the cartoon for the first time.
播放动画,让学生带着好奇心去看动画,找出Zip和Zoom所需要的物品。接着抛出一个较难的问题“Why do they need these things?”
- 学生一下子不见得能回答出来,顺势要学生打开课本,自己看一看故事,在课文中寻找答案。
- Watch for the second time.
学生看完一遍卡通和书以后对故事有了一定的了解,顺势问学生“Do you like the story?”“Let’s read and act.”跟读模仿,表演的过程中注意故事细节。(巩固模仿,加深印象)
4. A challenge: Who has a good memory?
Watch again and answer the questions:
- What does Zoom need for art class?
- When do they have English class?
- Why does Zoom want a football?
核对答案,看故事片段,巩固重难点。
(认真细心,挑战自我)
- 合作交流,理解答疑
Group work:To finish the mind map.
追问:Can they buy the football?
引出“enough”,看图再次感知理解并运用。
Step 4. Consolidation & Extension (情知拓展)
1. 合作表演,发散创新
Group work:
The choice is yours:故事表演。
故事续编。
故事创编。
不同层次不同兴趣的学生可运用今天所学自由选择表演内容。
Tips: It’s a new school year. I need to do some shopping.

I need a basketball. We can play it after school. / I need an …/ I need some crayons, I like drawing.
I’m sorry. We don’t have enough money. I’ll put back the ball.

- Today’s advice:

Step 5. Homework
- One star homework: Read or tell the story to your parents.
- Two stars homework: listen, read and make sentences with “need” “enough”and” put back”.
- Three stars homework: Write a composition about you week plan.
