教学目标： At the end of the class, the students will be able to: learn to make predictions. learn to express quantities with more, less, fewer... live a carbon life to protect our earth.
教学重点： 1. Key vocabulary: pollution, prediction, future, pollute, environment, planet,earth, plant, part... be like, move to, on the earth, play a part in doing, save the earth... 2. Key sentences: a. There will be more people. b. There will be (more / less / fewer) free time. c. Cities will be very big and crowded. d. What’s your prediction about the future? e. There will be fewer trees and the environment will be in great danger. f. Everyone should play a part in saving the earth.

Step 2 Listening (PPT 9-11)		Work on 2a,2b. 1. Ask Ss to read the sentences first. 2. Play the tape for Ss to listen and circle the words they hear. 3. Check the answers. 4. Make Ss read the sentences. 5.Ask Ss to listen again. Then check the predictions they hear. 6. Listen again, write T for true, F for false. 7. Check the answers in class.				播放一遍听力后，完成2a。利用这些对话，谈论未来的事情。听过第2遍以后完成2b。通过完成听力的方式来练习there will be 结构。
Step 3 Practice (PPT 12-16)		Work on 2c. 1.Point to the example in the box. Ask two Ss to read the sample conversation to the class. 2. Look at 2a and 2b.Groupwork:Take turns to make conversations about the predictions in 2a and 2b. A: What’s your prediction about the future? B: I think there will be more pollution. A: Really? I don’t think so. But I think there will be fewer trees. 3. Ask two Ss to practice the conversations and talk about the predictions.				听力之后，编对话练习表达对于未来的预言。练习巩固这个课时基本句型。
