Useful expressin
plice表示“警察”的总称，指“警方，警察”的意思，其前通常用the(有时也可省略)，形式上是单数，但含义上为复数。用作主语时，谓语要用复数。
例如：(1)The plice caught the rbber.　 警方抓到了强盗。(2)The plice are bright and brave. 　警察又聪明又勇敢。
pliceman是可数名词。复数形式是plicemen，说“一个警察”通常用“ a pliceman”。
例如：(1)他的爸爸是一个警察。 His father is a pliceman.(2)他们是警察。 They are plicemen.
sleep：动词或名词，“睡觉，睡眠”
例如：(1)他昨晚睡的很好。 He slept well last night.(2)不要在课堂上睡觉。 Dn’t sleep in class.
asleep：形容词，“睡着的”，表示状态。它不能用very修饰，只可用much，fast等词修饰。
例如：(1)When he came hme last night ,we were asleep. 他昨晚回家时，我们都睡着了。(2)She was asleep in class. 她在课堂上睡着了。
shall是情态动词，用于第一人称，表示征求对方的意愿。
