Before class

Students learn the words about animals.

Step 1:Lead in

First, play a video about many kinds of animals, then ask them a question: What animals can you see in the video?

Say the animals’ names as many as possible.

Watch a video and answer the question.

Say animals that they see in the video.

1.Activity 1:

Show some pictures about animals and learn new words together。

Play a guessing game: Let the students tell the animals according to the sounds of the animals. And learn something more about the animals from animals’ introductions.

Invite some students to dress up as an animals and make self-introduction.

Look at the pictures on page 25 and match the words with the animals.

Check the answers to the class.
