三.教材分析:
本节课以动物为话题,贴近学生生活。易于激发学生的学习兴取,本节课的对话设置也从生活实际出发,有利于学生掌握生活中基本的常识交流。本节课主要学习有关动物的单词,描述动物的形容词,以及阐述喜欢动物的理由,所有教学活动都是围绕动物而展开。最后通过对野生动物现状的分析,激发学生热爱动物,保护动物的人文情怀。
4. 学情分析:
经过之前的学习,学生已熟练掌握了why,where,what引导的特殊疑问句,有学习本节课的认知前提,本节课的动物话题因贴近生活,更容易激发学生学习的兴趣和积极性。
5. 教学策略:
本节课以教师为主导,以学生为主体,设置听前、听中、听后三个环节,让学生通过自学、互学、小组讨论的形式参与课堂。
六.教学目标:
1.知识目标:
Words: panda, koala, elephant, tiger, lion, giraffe, lazy, cute, beautiful, animal, Smart, scary.
Sentences: Lets see the pandas first.
- Why do you want to see them?
- Because they're cute.
2.技能目标:
使学生能够熟练地运用目标语谈论自己喜爱的动物,并阐述原因.
3.情感目标:
. 使学生珍爱动物,保护动物。
. 培养合作精神和团队意识。
7. 教学重点:
a.正确谈论自己喜爱的动物。
b.能运用形容词描述喜欢或不喜欢某种动物的理由。
八.教学难点:
熟练运用所学词语和句型来描述对某种动物喜爱的理由。

Before class Students learn the words about animals. Step 1:Lead in First, play a video about many kinds of animals, then ask them a question: What animals can you see in the video? Say the animals’ names as many as possible.

. Activity 2: Play a guessing game: Let the students tell the animals according to the sounds of the animals. And learn something more about the animals from animals’ introductions.
. Activity 3 Invite some students to dress up as an animals and make self-introduction.
. Activity 4 Look at the pictures on page 25 and match the words with the animals. Check the answers to the class.
Step 3:While-listening . Activity 1 Work on 1b. Listen and check the animals in 1a you hear. . Actiivity 2 Listen again and complete the conversations.
Step 4: Post-listening . Activity 1 Make conversations by using the sentence patterns: -What’s your favorite animal ? - My favorite animal is.... -Why do you like...? -Because they’re... . Activity 2 Practice the conversation in 1c,and make conversations with partners.
. Activity 3 Work in groups of four. Do a Survey about you and your partners’ likes and dislikes and make a report.
. Activity4 Watch a video about wild animals. Ask the students what they can do to help the wild animals.
Step5: Summary. Step6: Homework. Ask your parents’ likes and dislikes and use the information to make a report. |
See pictures and read the new words about animals.
Listen to the sounds of the animals and guess what animal it is. Learn some information about the animals.
Choose one of the animals and make a self-introduction to the class.
Match the words with animals.
Work on 1b and do the listening practice.
Make conversations in pairs.
