Pre-reading Lead the students to look at the photos, the title and the first paragraph of the diary on page 59.Then circle the correct answers.
Reading Ask the students to listen to the tape and read after it.
Reading task Lead the students to read the text and finish the tasks. Task1: Match the paragraphs with their meanings. Paragraph 1 Jerry tells some facts about the Moon and the trip to the Moon. Paragraph 2 Jerry talks about his plans for his activities on the Moon. Paragraph 3 Jerry can't wait to travel into space. Task2: Fill in the table.
Task3: Finish C1 and C2 on the book.
Post-reading Lead the Ss to work with their partner and make an interview about Jerry’s trip.
