Reading task Lead the students to read the text and finish the tasks. Task1: Answer the questions. 1. Are there any buildings on the Moon now? 2. What will the hotels on the Moon need to have? 3. What will a Moon hotel offer you? 4. What else will you be able to do in the Moon hotel? 5. How much will a trip to the Moon cost? Task2: Fill in the blanks. There will be hotels on the Moon in the future. They will have to be (1)___ and need a lot of (2)__ in them. The rooms in the hotels will have (3)_______. There will also be a (4)________for you to swim in, and you will be able to see (5) ____ around you while you are swimming. But do not get too (6) ____ about taking a trip to the Moon because it will (7) ___________!
Pair work Lead the Ss to talk about their dream hotel on the Moon and what they are going to do there in pairs. How will tourists get to the hotel? Will they go by spaceships/rockets/planes ...? Are there roads/bridges/tunnels on the Moon? What facilities are there in the hotel? Is there a swimming pool/restaurant/ bathroom/tennis court ...? What will it look like? What activities will tourists do in the hotel? Will they use the facilities above? Will they wear spacesuits to do all those activities outdoors and indoors?
