教学重点 | Understand the main idea of the conversation and read the conversation with correct pronunciation and intonation. Be able to use the sentence pattern “We’re/ I’m going to…” to describe the person or thing in the picture. |
教学难点 | Understand and master the structural features of the . sentence pattern “We’re/ I’m going to…”and the meaning expressed. |

教学过程 | 1. Warm-up & lead-in (1) Look at the picture, and think about the question: “We’re/ I’m going to…”. (2) Teacher leads students to say the chant together. (Students can warm up by saying the chant. Students can also activate the memorized vocabulary in their minds and master the synthesis and expression of new content.) 2. Presentation (1) Ask students to observe the picture and guess the content of the picture. Think about the question:“What are the family going to do tomorrow?”. (2) Listen to the tape of activity 2, and students will watch it with questions. (3) Listen to the tape for the second time, students answer the questions. (This part presents the content of this lesson to the students, and assigns the tasks after learning this lesson to the students, so that the students can study purposefully, and let the students know the tasks of this lesson and what they can do in English after learning this lesson.) (4) Listen to the tape for the third time and practice reading the text. (5) Listen to the tape and imitate the pronunciation and intonation. (6) Students show their reading on the platform. (7) Explain the key and difficult point. (In the process of listening, following and imitating, let students feel the rhythm of English and correct their pronunciation.)
(1) Ask students to observe the picture and guess the content of the picture. Then describe the picture with “I’m going to .../We’re going to...”. (2) Listen to the tape and imitate the sentence. (3) Look at the beautiful picture, then describe the picture with the sentence pattern “We’re going to ...” (Through filling in the blanks and practising describe the picture, students comprehensively apply the knowledge of “We’re going to ...” to complete the task of this lesson.) 4.Summary |
