2. Use sentence patterns skillfully: “Do you want some ……?” “Yes, please. / No, thank you”、 “Have you got……?” “Yes, I have. / No, I haven’t.”

教学重点

Master sentence patterns“Do you want some...?Yes, please. No, thank you.” and be able to ask or answer questions about food choices.

教学难点

The pronunciation of “chopsticks and difficult” and the use of new sentence patterns.

教学过程

1. Warm-up & lead-in

(1) Free talks about “juice with ice”etc.

(Through free conversation, students can activate the memorized vocabulary in their minds and master the synthesis and expression of new content.)

2. Presentation

(1) Ask students to observe the picture and guess the content of the picture.

(2) Play the animation of activity 1, and students will watch it with questions.

(3) Play the animation for the second time, students answer the questions.

(This part presents the content of this lesson to the students, and assigns the tasks after learning this lesson to the students, so that the students can study purposefully, and let the students know the tasks of this lesson and what they can do in English after learning this lesson.)

(4) Play the animation for the third time and practice reading the text.

(5) Listen to the tape and imitate the pronunciation and intonation.

(6) Students show their reading on the platform.

(7) Explain the key and difficult point.

(In the process of listening, following and imitating, let students feel the rhythm of English and correct their pronunciation.)

3. Practice

(1) Listen to the tape, Feel the rhythm and rhyme of the song, and imitate and follow it..

(2) Watch the video with the question “ What does the panda want?”. Then answer the question.

(3) Act out the dining scene in pairs: one acts as a waiter and the other acts as a customer.

(Through saying the chant and practising the dialogue, students  comprehensively apply the knowledge of “Do you want some...?” to complete the task of this lesson.)
