教学过程

一、复习旧知

1. Ask the students to pretend to play instruments and the others guess what they are, and spell them.

2. Then ask them to make conversations with the structures:

What can you do?

What can she/ he/ do?

二、导入新课

Teacher:（Show a picture）Hi, boys and girls. They are my good friends Peter, Ma Huan and Alan. They have many talents. Do you know what they can do? Let’s read the descriptions about them and find the answers.

三、讲授新课

【完成教材2a~2c的教学任务】

1.让学生阅读2a短文，画出他们三个人会做的事情。

2.让学生小组核对答案并大声朗读所画句子。

3.让学生朗读2b中的三则广告，然后根据广告内容为其选择合适的标题。

(1)I can speak English and I can also play soccer.

我会说英语，并且我还会踢足球。

also 是副词，意为“也，而且”，可以用在实义动词前，也可用在be动词后面。如：

He also likes to play fooyball.

他也喜欢去踢足球。

4.让学生再一次认真阅读2a的短文和2b的广告内容，为Peter, Ma Huan和Alan选择合适的工作，完成2c。

【语法提要】

1.be good with

be good with…意为“善于应付……的；对……有办法”，其同义短语为get on well with…。

例句：She is good with her friends.她与朋友们相处得好。

2.need

need作实义动词，意为“需要”，后接名词、代词或动词不定式作宾语。need to do sth.意为“需要做某事”；need sb.to do sth.意为“需要某人做某事”。

例句：I need your help.我需要你的帮助。

拓展：need作情态动词，意为“需要”，后接动词原形，多用于疑问句和否定句。

例句：You needn’t worry about me.你不需要担心我。

【问题探究】

根据汉语意思完成句子。
