完形填空主要考查的是考生对篇章的理解能力以及对所学知识的综合运用能力。题材以故事性题材居多。分值为10分,共10个小题。要求考生能熟练掌握词义辨析与惯用搭配,在一定的语境中比较分辨同义词和近义词,选出能符合上下文语境和意义要求的选项。
解题策略:第一步,通读全文,掌握大意。首先看一下文章的首句和尾句,使自己对全文有个大概的印象,然后再去通读全文。第二步,综合考虑,逐项填空。根据全文大意,把上下文的意思、词类和语法功能、惯用法、句法结构、常识等各种因素加以综合考虑,仔细推敲。
第三步,复读全文,避免遗漏。初步完成之后,把全文复读一遍,检查全文是否前后贯通,再次将不合题意的答案调整或修改。

一、前后照应关联法 这个方法主要在短文中出现一些相关联的词(如同义词、反义词、近义词、同根词)或重复出现的词时,可通过上下文选择正确的选项。

三、固定搭配记忆法 完形填空虽然以语境考查为主,但也有小部分题目考查固定搭配、固定句型以及词义辨析。固定搭配需要考生在平时的学习当中积累和记忆。
