Lion:What can you see in this video?
Can you say something about the lion?
(strong,catch,bite,sharp)
Mouse:Listen to the sound,it’s a mouse.It’s weak and small.
The mouse is small and weak , the lion is large and strong.Are they good friends?
- Look and guess
Look at the pictures,What happened? Can you guess?
P2:The lion is laughing ,Why?Are they talking happily?
The mouse is shaking,He’s very afraid.
P3:Look at the lion,Is he happy now?
P4:Who helped the lion?
P5:Are they happy now?
3.1st reading
Read underline and answer:
Who woke up the lion?(wake)
What didi the lion want to do?
Did he do that?
Check the answer.
4.2nd reading
Read underline and answer:
Why the lion let the mouse go?
“Please don’t eat me,I can help you some day.”said the mouse quietly.
Did the lion believe that?How do you know that?
“You are so small and weak,how can you help me?”laughed the lion loudly.
Because the lion is very kind.
Have students Listen and imitate the lion and the mouse.
How did the man catch the lion?
Two man caught the lion with a large net.(caught,net)
How did the lion feel now?
Imitate:“How can I get out?”asked the lion sadly.
How did the mouse help the lion out?
The mouse made a big hole in the net with his teeth.(hole)
Imitate:”Thank you!”said the lion happily.
The lion’s teeth are very sharp,Why he couldn’t make a hole in the net?
The mouse was so small and weak,Why he could help the lion out?
Introduce the mouse’s teeth.(rodent animals)
Everyone has his strong and weak points.
Don’t look down on others.
What did the lion and the mouse become?
The lion and the mouse became good friends.
