一、教学目标

1、知识目标:

To learn the words: special, Father’s Day, message

To learn the sentences: Daming is making a card for his father.

He is drawing books and birds.

2、能力目标:

To use words and phases to describe someone is doing sth.

To know about Father’s Day custom.

3、情感态度目标:  

According some pictures ,ask the pupils to describe someone is doing sth.

To teach the pupils to respect their parents.

Step 1 Warm up

There is an important festival in may.It’s Mother’s Day.What did you do for your mother?

Step 2 Presentation  

1. Leader in:There is another important day in June.Let’s watch the screen and guess.
2. T:Yes ,it’s Father’s Day.It is a special day. 同时出示special 的单词卡片。
3. 播放讲述父亲节的由来。然后老师再指着父亲节，On father’s Day .What do the people usually do for fathers on this special day? 再次播放父亲节习俗Will you write some message for your dad?

T：You are all good children. Listen to the text ,then answer:Do you know what Daming is doing for his father? Let’s look at Unit 2 and find out.

2.Listen and repeat ,Do you know these words?出示本课单词同时出示单词卡，然后引导学生进行语音归类（ppt课件出示语音归类词语）。3.Answer the questions.(教师边讲边出示思维导图）

Step 3Consolidation and extension

1.According to these center words to retell the text.

Step 4 practice and Summary

1. Play a game then fill the blanks.(教师小结动词变成现在分词的几种方式。）
2. Let’s watch a sand picture show.Do you love your father?

What do you want to say to your father?

3. Next month,Father’s Day is coming,let’s write a message for your father,OK?(Read and stick these messages on the blackboard.)
4. Now look at the video,It’s a sand picture show.

Do you love your father? In the future, when our parents will become old ,we should ...(look after them.)Can you do that?
