Fashin brand JUMA recently shwed its newest cllectin at a wrkshp in Shanghai. Eighteen clthing items frm the cllectin, including jackets, shirts and dresses, were made frm recycled plastic bttles.
“We realized that billins f water bttles were being thrwn int landfills (垃圾填埋场) and ceans every year and that these bttles take hundreds f years t decmpse (分解). We thught we shuld use them t create ur clthes and help the envirnment,” said Alia Juma, the cmpany’s design directr.
