Step 3: Leading-in.

图片导人：教师利用白板出示一些介绍中西方重大节日的图片。这些重大的节日包括：中国的春节，西方的圣诞节，万圣节，复活节等等。也可以复习前面所提到的一些节日。教师可以用简洁的英语作介绍，并把生词板书在黑板上，既扫清了生词障碍，又自然地导入到新课。Christmas圣诞节Halloween万圣节Easter复活节。

Step 4:完成教材上la- 1d的任务。

1．la: 看图片，了解万圣节。教师可以把这些生词重新归类，帮助学生理清一条主线：时间—地点—干什么—如何干。这样学生就对万圣节这个节日一目了然了。操作案例：

时间：October

地点：western countries, haunted house

事物：black cat, ghost, spider, candy

做什么：dress up, trick or treat

结果：scary

然后要求一两个学生用自己的话复述对万圣节的介绍。

2．1b: 听录音，回答问题：

Where is Halloween popular?

When do people celebrate Halloween?

What does Wu Yu think of this festival?

播放听力录音第一遍，学生边听边完成lb。

3．1c: Listen again. Fill in the blanks. 播放听力录音第二遍，学生根据所听内容完成lc。

4．1d: 学生开展小组活动：谈论万圣节中最让人感兴趣的活动，然后跟同伴一起进行小对话。

Think about the Halloween activities that interest you most. Discuss what you have learned with a partner.

操作案例：
