【教学目标】
1.知识目标:
(1)重点单词:treat, Christmas, lie, dress up, play a trick on sb., trick or treat, learn about
(2)重点句式:
a.I know it's a popular festival in North America and it's on October 31st.
b.I think it's fun to dress up as cartoon characters.
c.Little kids and even parents dress up as ghosts or black cats.
d."Trick or treat" means kids will play a trick on you if you don't give them a treat.

Step2: Revision:
1.请将下列句子改为宾语从句。

Step 3: Leading-in.
图片导人:教师利用白板出示一些介绍中西方重大节日的图片。这些重大的节日包括:中国的春节,西方的圣诞节,万圣节,复活节等等。也可以复习前面所提到的一些节日。教师可以用简洁的英语作介绍,并把生词板书在黑板上,既扫清了生词障碍,又自然地导入到新课。Christmas圣诞节Halloween万圣节Easter复活节。
Step 4:完成教材上la- 1d的任务。
1.la: 看图片,了解万圣节。教师可以把这些生词重新归类,帮助学生理清一条主线:时间—地点—干什么—如何干。这样学生就对万圣节这个节日一目了然了。操作案例:
时间:October
地点:western countries, haunted house
事物:black cat, ghost, spider, candy
做什么:dress up, trick or treat
结果:scary
然后要求一两个学生用自己的话复述对万圣节的介绍。
2.1b: 听录音,回答问题:
Where is Halloween popular?
When do people celebrate Halloween?
What does Wu Yu think of this festival?
播放听力录音第一遍,学生边听边完成lb。
3.1c: Listen again. Fill in the blanks. 播放听力录音第二遍,学生根据所听内容完成lc。
4.1d: 学生开展小组活动:谈论万圣节中最让人感兴趣的活动,然后跟同伴一起进行小对话。
Think about the Halloween activities that interest you most. Discuss what you have learned with a partner.
操作案例:
A: What have you learned about Halloween?
B: Oh, I know it's a popular festival in North America and it's on October 31st.
A: What do you like most about this festival?
B: I think it's fun to dress up as cartoon characters.
A: How do little kids and even parents dress up?
B: They dress up as ghosts or black cats…
Step 5 Practice.
