6.made them all fall over make及物动词,意为“使;让”,后接省略to的不定式作宾语补足语;也可以接形容词、名词、介词短语充当宾语补足语。

7.continued moving across my body
continue doing sth “继续做……”,也可用 continue to do sth,类似的动词begin。

8.either “也”,用于否定句,放在句末。too(= as well)“也”,用于肯定句,放在句末。
also“也”,是比较正式的用语,经常放在句中,在行为动词之前, be动词之后;如有助动词或情态动词,放在助动词或情态动词之后。

9.manage“设法完成”,后接 to do sth作宾语。

try to do sth表示努力去做某事,结果不明确;manage to表示设法成功地做某事,结果成功。
