Teaching procedures Step 1 Warming up & Revision 1. Greet the class. 2. Enjoy the song Where is the toy car? 3. Say the commands and do the actions. 4. Make a dialogue with the key sentences in Unit 4. 5. Lead the Ss perform their own conversations. Step 2 Presentation & Practice 1. Play the sharp eyes game to revise the words of Unit 4. 2. Revise all the dialogues of Let’s talk in this unit. Then try to act them out. 3. Let’s guess, revise the key sentence pattern Where is the…? It’s in/ on/ under… 4. Listen and tick or cross. A. Present the pictures and talk about it first. B. Ss listen and tick or cross. C. Check the answers. Then listen and repeat. 5. Look and tick. Ask the Ss to read out the words of Look and tick. Then ask them to tick out the words in the picture. At last, spell the words together. 6. Learn to sing the song Where is my toy car? A. Follow the video to sing it one by one. B. Teach the new words. C. Ask the Ss try to sing it together. Encourage them to perform actions to the song. Step 3 Consolidation & Extension 1. Make a new song and try to sing. 2. Do the exercises Find the different words. Step 4 Summary & Homework 1. Focus on the key knowledge. 2. Do homework Make a new song and share with your partner. |
