Listen and circle the three things Carol did on her school trip in 1a.

Step 4. Language points
1.feed v.喂(养);饲养feed可作及物动词,其后常接表示动物的名词作宾语。feed的过去式为fed。
2.辨析 farmer, farm与farming
3.quite a lot意为“相当多”,修饰动词。
4.辨析quite与very
5.Did you ride a horse?你骑马了吗?
该句是一般过去时的一般疑问句。一般过去时的一般疑问句是将助动词Did放在主语前,且主语后的谓语动词须用动词原形,其肯定回答为“Yes,...did.”,否定回答为“No,...didn't.”。

Ask and answer questions about Carol’s school trip.
A:Did Carol take any photos?
B:Yes,she did.
T: Now, could you please present your conversations for the class? Let`s turn the turntable and choose one team?
(Have Ss form pairs and practice the conversations in the picture. Walk around the classroom to monitor their work. Have Ss introduce their family members using the conversations as a model. Have Ss mingle and practice the conversations. Choose some teams to role-play their conversations for the class.)
