Unit 1 He spent about twenty-one hours in space.

教学目标：

1、学生能听懂、会说并认读单词：flew (fly), famous, spent (spend),  about twenty-one hours, video, proud, someday.

2、学生能读懂、会说并认读下列句子：

1. He spent about twenty-one hours in space.

2. In October2003, my father flew into space in Shenzhou V.

3. He made a video in space

4. I was very proud of him.。                 

教学重点：

1、学生能听懂、会说并认读单词：flew (fly),  famous spent (spend),  about  hour, video,  proud, someday；.

2、学生能读懂、会说并认读重点句子。               

教学难点：

运用过去式描述过去发生的事情。能运用所学知识进行交流对话

教学准备：

课件，点读笔，光盘，图片

教学过程：

Step 1: Warm up

Greeting

T: Do you know a men whose name is Yang Liwei.

S: Yes!

T: Do you know anything about him?

S: I know....

T: Great! Today, we’ll learn more things about him.

Step 2: Presentation

1. Teaching the new text. 

T: Please read the whole passage quickly.

T: Finished?

Ss: Yes

T: Do you want to see Shenzhou V flew into space? OK, let’s share the important moment together.

T: What’s your feeling?

Ss: Great, wonderful, great, excited, proud…

2.  Learn important vocabulary

fly -----flew   go -----went     are -----were    am----was is -----was   watch ----watched  spend-----spent   do-----did  make -----made  come ----came

3. Follow and read

T: Listen and follow, pay attention to your pronunciation

T: Now, read the text by yourself. Please read loudly and fluently.

Ss: ……

T: Please make sentences. You can discuss in groups.

Step 3: Summary

T: What have you learnt in this class?

Ss: He spent about twenty-one hours in space 

Ss :In October2003,my father flew into space in Shenzhou V .

Ss: He made a video in space.

Ss:I was very proud of him.

Step 4: Homework
