四年级的学生对本课买礼物的内容非常感兴趣,比较贴近生活,学习起来比较容易。

3. 会表述某人的生日,以及自己的意愿。
4. 会用buy sb. sth. 来表述给某人买什么。

活动1【导入】
Period1
Divide the class into two parts: Team 1 and Team 2. PK.
Let’s sing a song (星期的小歌曲)
活动2【讲授】
Divide the class into two parts: Team 1 and Team
Show the picture of Ken, and the birthday cake. Let students say the sentence.
T: Ken’s/His birthday is on Monday.
S: Together.
T: Yes, look at this one. Whose birthday is it? When is his/her birthday? (学生利用PPT操练,也可以通过自己的知识来补充。)
设计意图: 通过Ken’s birthday is on Monday. 让学生对于名词所有格,及以前学到的名词性物主代词的巩固练习,强调了星期之前要用on.开拓学生的思维,在复习中体现知识的内在的综合性,真正做到活学活用。
T: Ken’s birthday is coming. I want to buy him a present. I want to buy him a present.
Teach this new word: present.
Then practice this sentence with PPT
3. T: If I want to buy the present, where should I go?
(1)T shows a card of department store. (ppt1)
T: Where are you going, xxx?
S: To the department store. /I’m going to the department store.
Teach this new word: department store with pictures.
Practice in pairs. Check some pairs:
A: Where are you going, xxx?
B: To the department store. /I’m going to the department store.
(2)Play a guessing game. Show some covered pictures.
T: Guess, where is he/she going?
S: To the…. /He/She is going to the…. (hospital, store, park …)
Then practice in pairs. Check some pairs.

设计意图:通过买礼物,让学生接触到新单词 store.通过句子复习过渡到对话功能练习,让学生从实践中巩固,同时教师让学生自己主动总结此类句型,从被动到主动,形成完整的知识网络。

设计意图: 让学生找出这几个常用短语的和上面学习到的不同之处。
