教学过程
Step 1: Warm-up
1. 读56页的对话，回答教师的问题:What is her uncle? Is her aunt a nurse r a ftball player? 同时回答: D yu have an uncle? What is he?
2. 根据实际情况回答:
Hw many bys are there in ur class?
Hw many girls are there in ur class?
3. Sing the sng I lve my family tgether.
教师播放三年级下册第二单元的歌曲I lve my family，学生们一起跟唱。通过这首歌曲复习之前已学过的家庭成员的名词，如: father，mther，grandfather，grandmther，brther，sister等。
4. Fun time: family
教师问学生“family”代表什么，告诉学生一个容易记住这个单词的方法:family=father and mther I lve yu。
Step 2: Presentatin
1. Teach the dialgue in“Let's talk”.
教师呈现自己的全家福照片，师生对话示例如下:
教师: This is a pht f my family. Hw many peple are there in my family?
学生: Five.
教师: Yes. My family has five peple, my parents, my husband, my baby and me.
学生跟读parents和baby，并根据照片理解其意思。
教师呈现Amy的全家福图片，告诉学生们: Amy's family has six peple.
学生们数了一下: Dad, mum, sister, baby brther and Amy. Five peple.
教师引导学生说句子: Right, that's nly five.
教师介绍: And a little puppy. (并介绍西方国家把宠物看作家庭成员的文化)学生打开课本58页，学读Let's talk的对话。
2. Play the game in“Let's cunt”.
呈现Let's cunt部分的图片，请同桌结对完成活动。两个学生分别针对图中展示的细节提问，如: Hw many birds/flwers/ants are there in the picture/…?同学之间问答。
Step 3: Practice
1. 活动: 学生拿出各自的全家福照片，在四人小组内相互询问各自家庭的情况，并陈述具体有哪些成员，运用句型: Hw many peple are there in yur family? My family has…
2.学生分组或分角色朗读对话，然后两人结对练习对话。熟练后表演对话。
3. Play a game: Hw many…?
学生两人一组，利用教室里现有的物品进行询问，例如:
Hw many lights are there in the rm?
Hw many chairs are there?
Hw many desks are there?
在一问一答的游戏中巩固Hw many的用法。
Step 4: Extensin
1. Make a survey.
教师在黑板上画一张调查表，请学生在四人小组中展开调查，教师请几名学生把采访到的同学家的人数说出来并在对应的方格内打勾。
2.让学生们根据自己家的实际情况，自编一组新对话。
3. Act ut the new dialgue. 学生们表演新编的对话。

师生自编一首小歌谣来总结本课时重点内容。

教学反思
本课时的对话教学，主要是让学生们掌握句型:Hw many peple are there in yur family?来询问别人家庭成员人数，并懂得如何回答。充分利用Let's cunt提供的场景图，让学生大量操练hw many 句型。
不足之处是对于单词peple及hw many的基本含义和用法在课前没有给学生们作太多的铺垫，有的学生不理解句子。在接下来的课时中要及时进行巩固练习。
