2. Revision 1) Ask and answer Look at the pictures. “What are those? What are these?” 2) Help the students make a new rhyme with the words for different clothes following the rhyme on page 36 of Students book 1B. Socks, a jacket, a hat and a scarf. What do you need? What do you need? I need a jacket. I need a scarf. I need a jacket and a scarf. | 通过对前面所学内容的复习，让学生逐渐进入今天的学习。 漂亮的图片紧紧吸引住孩子的目光。

While-task procedure | 1. Listen to the tape 1) Have the students listen to the recording for ‘Say and act” on page 24 of the Student’s Book several times. 2) Ask the students some questions to help them learn new words and understand the dialogue. Teach: in English try → have a try What’s this in English? What are these in English? May I have try? 3) Ask the students repeat after the recording. 4) Have the students practice the dialogue in pairs.
2. Role-play Ask the students to role-play the dialogue in groups of six. Then invite several groups to act it out in front of the class.
3. Game Collect the pictures the students have drawn. Then show some pictures and ask their owners to answer your questions. T: (Show S1 picture) What is this in English, S1? S1: It is a scarf. T: (Show S2 picture) What are these in English, S2? S2: They are gloves. T: (Show S3 picture) What are these in English? Are they skirts, S3? S3: No. They are shorts. | 由听到理解再到问答，培养学生的听力、理解能力，从而培养学生的学习能力。同时又把抽象的单词教学融合与句子、段中，做到词不离句段。

Post-task activity | 1. Divide the students into groups of six. Practise the dialogue. 2. Have the students read how to make a paper hat. Then have the students role-play the dialogue in pairs. Finally, invite some pairs to act it out in front of the class. 3. Read and draw: Passage A: Helen has a white blouse and a red skirt. She has a pair of white socks and a pair of red shoes. She looks beautiful. Passage B: Jane has a yellow dress. She has a pair of yellow socks and a pair of brown shoes. She looks beautiful. |
