2. Presentation （New words）		Ask: Why are the games special? The athletes are special. The events are special. The volunteers are special.	Learn and read the new words, phrases, sentences.	通过讨论特奥会的特殊之处，在语境中教授并巩固新单词，为下一步课文阅读打好基础。

(3)Ask students read paragraph4 and try to make an interview with Liu Ming. (4)Suppose: If your are Liu Ming, how would you feel as an volunteer? Read para1 & 5, find out three adjectives to show Liu’s feelings. Why is it great to work closely with the athletes? Find out three phrases.	Read paragraph2 aloud and answer questions. Try to retell what the Special Olympics Games are for according to the key words. Listen and record the key phrases. Retell according to the key words. Read this paragraph carefully. Make an interview in pairs. Show own opinions. Read and find out amazing, fantastic, great. Post-reading 7. Activity		About the word “Great”: The games are great; The athletes are great; The volunteers are great. What can we learn from Li Hai and Liu Ming? Ask students what we can do for people in need. Show the teacher’s ideas. Be sunshine for yourself, whenever you are facing difficulties, tell yourself: “I know, I can.” Be sunshine for people in need, helping others will help make a better world.	Retell the text according to the word “great”, then fill in the blanks on the exercise paper. Conclusion: Learn from Li Hai & Liu Ming: I know I can. Discuss in groups. Show ideas.
