The study f these figures is called cymatics, which cmes frm the Greek wrd “kima” (wave) and was first created by Swiss scientist Hans Jenny in 1967, but the phenmena had been bserved fr hundreds f years by the likes f Da Vinci and Galile.
The patterns are best bserved using thin sheet f either metal r glass, knwn as a Chladni plate, cnnected t a signal generatr which can vibrate (震动） at a variety f audi frequencies. The sheet has set frequencies at which it will naturally resnate (共振） as the generated sund waves travel thrugh it. Jseph Pulitzer was brn t a wealthy family in Hungary n April 10, 1847 and grew up and was educated there in private schls.
