多媒体展示骑自行车发生事故的图片。
T：Boys and girls，what happened in the pictures?
Ss：It is a bike accident.
T：Yes.Can you describe them?

S2：A boy was riding his bicycle.All of a sudden，...
T：OK.Well done！Now this lesson we will learn a bike accident.Are you ready?
设计意图：此环节利用图片，通过师生问的对话导入本课的话题自行车事故，利用会话将学生带入自行车事故的场景，为下面的学习做好铺垫。
环节2
1. Read the lesson and do Exercise 1 on Page 39.
2.Read the article aloud after the recorder. Then let the students listen to the tape and repeat it sentence by sentence.
3.Do the Exercise 1and 2on page 39 ,and check the answers.
4.Work in group of 8 to find out the key words，phrases and sentences.
5.The teacher explains the article.
6.Ask the student’s to finish the Exercise 3, then check the answers.
7.要点点拨
（1）There’s something wrong with me.我有点不舒服。
句式结构：there’s something wrong with...意为“……出了什么毛病”。
（2）I felt so terrible that I lay down again.我感觉很难受又躺下了。
so...that...如此……以至于……，引导结果状语从句。
（3）Then I saw blood on my shoe.然后我看到鞋上有血。
blood名词，“血”，其动词为bleed“流血”。
（4）As I lay there，I took off my helmet.我躺着的时候，我摘下了头盔。
take off“脱下”，其反义词为put on“穿上”。take off还有“起飞”的意思。
（5）There was a sharp rock sticking out of it.在它外面有一个尖锐的石头。
（6）It was pretty scary to look at.这相当吓人。
scary形容词，“可怕的，吓人的”。
（7）Thank goodness I wore my helmet.谢天谢地，我戴了头盔。
thank goodness意为“谢天谢地”。
（8）A stranger stopped his truck and came to help me.一个陌生人停下卡车过来帮我。
stranger陌生人，是形容词strange的名词形式。
（9）She knew I was careless and not always wear my helmet.她知道我很粗心而且不总是戴头盔。
careless形容词，“粗心的”，其反义词为careful“细心的”，其副词为carelessly“粗心地”，其名词和动词的形式均为care。
设计意图：找出本课的重点句子，理解里面含有的词汇和知识点，知道它们的使用场合，从而更好的运用它们。
