教学目标

1. 听懂、理解、会说以下目标语言。

      四会单词：know,  travel,  hear,  lake

    句型：be going to…(一般将来时)

    其他语言点： east，west，south，north ，plan,  hear,

 travel around，capital, province,the Great Wall，the longest，the West Lake，the most famous, be famous for, terracotta army,something more, We are going to visit…

2.让学生能在具体的语境中，较为准确地运用目标单词和短语；会初步运用be going to的句型；初步培养学生在问题引导下从语篇中找出目标信息的能力；使学生能较为准确地朗读课文。

3.让学生了解课文中所提及的祖国各地的名胜古迹，培养爱国主义情怀。

学情分析 ：

六年级的学生通过几年的英语学习，他们已经掌握了一定的单词和句型，能够进行简单的交流，也能够表达真实的情感。他们对新的语言会表现出好奇，但是还不能灵活运用所学句型，需要运用不同的教学方法吸引他们的注意力，通过各种方式反复练习，不断强化，才能巩固所学。

重 点：

听懂、理解、会说以下目标语言。

难点：

让学生能在具体的语境中，较为准确地运用目标单词和短语；会初步运用be going to的句型；初步培养学生在问题引导下从语篇中找出目标信息的能力；使学生能较为准确地朗读课文。

教学过程

一、导入

Teacher talks about travel.(出示课件)

T:I like travelling. I am going to travel around China during the summer holidays. I am going to visit Xinjiang,Guilin, Shanghai …. There are many interesting and famous places to visit in China. Where are you going to visit during the summer holidays?

S1:I am going to visit…

S2:I am going to visit…

S3:I am going to visit…

S4:I am going to visit…

设计意图：选取贴近学生实际生活的情景——旅游，让他们都有话可说，渗透一般将来时的用法，为新课的学习打基础。

二、Presentation

1. Lily and her parents are going to travel around China during the

summer holidays.

T:Let`s know about Lily`s family`s travel plan.(板书)Do you know the places? Who can come to the front and find the places in the map?(出示课件)

设计意图：让学生指出Lily将要去的旅游地点，吸引学生的

注意力，调动他们学习的积极性，培养他们的观察能力。

2.Talk about Beijing. (出示课件)

T: Where is Lily going to visit in the first week?

S:She is going to visit Beijing in the first week.（板书）

Have the students repeat . Then ask and answer in pairs.

T:Do you know what it is ?

S: 长城。

T: Yes. It’s the Great Wall.

S：跟读&个别读

T：I know the Great Wall is the longest wall in the world.

T: I also know Beijing is the capital of China.

S: 读

3.Talk about Harbin (出示课件)

T: Where is Lily going to visit in the first week?

S:She is going to visit Harbin in the first week.（板书）

Have the students repeat . Then ask and answer in pairs.

T: Let’s talk about something more about Harbin.-----something more------ Where is Harbin? Which province?

S: 黑龙江

T：Yes. It’s in Heilongjiang Province.

S：跟读&个别读

T: Where is Heilongjiang?

S: …

T: Yes, it’s in the north of China.

S: 跟读&个别读

4.Talk about Xi`an(出示课件)

T: Where is Lily going to visit in the first week?

S:She is going to visit Xi`an in the first week.（板书）

Have the students repeat . Then ask and answer in pairs.

T: Where is Xi’an? In which province?

S: Xi’an is in Shaanxi province.

T: Look at the picture. What else can we say it in English? 兵马俑  Please read: terracotta army. te-rra-co-tta

5. T：Let’s talk about the city.  Which city is it? (出示课件)

S：上海

T: Where is Lily going to visit in the second week?

S:She is going to visit Shanghai in the second week.（板书）

Have the students repeat . Then ask and answer in pair.

6. T：Let’s talk about the city.  Which city is it? (出示课件)

S：杭州

T: Where is Lily going to visit in the second week?

S:She is going to visit Hangzhou in the second week.（板书）

Have the students repeat . Then ask and answer in pairs.

T：Let’s talk about something more about Hangzhou. Where is Hangzhou?

S：浙江

T：Hangzhou is in Zhejiang Province.

S: 跟读

T: It’s in the east of China.

S：跟读

T: What is it?

S：西湖

T：Yes, it’s the West Lake. It is the most famous place in Hangzhou.  Let’s write: l-a-k-e

T: I hear it’s a very beautiful lake.  Now, let’s read: h-e-a-r

7.T: Let’s talk about the city. Which city is it?

S：三亚

T: Where is Lily going to visit in the second week? (出示课件)

S:She is going to visit Sanya in the second week.（板书）

Have the students repeat . Then ask and answer in pairs.

T: Let’s talk about something more about Sanya. Can you fill in the blanks?

Where is Sanya? In which province?

S: Sanya is in Hainan province. It’s in the south of China.

设计意图：能够简单运用一般将来时be going to来描述Lily的行程，利用课件学习这些城市的名胜古迹，所在省市和所在的方位。

8.Open the books.Look and listen.

设计意图：通过听录音，让学生整体感知和初步理解语篇。

三.practice

1.Now,take out your paper. Here I have some tasks for you.

Task 1: true or false.

Now, I’d like you to read the passage by yourselves, and try to finish this task, and then will check answers.

设计意图：通过问题引导，培养学生从语篇中快速找出目标信息的能力。同时帮助学生理清文章结构，培养学生的口头表达能力。
