    Step One Lead in

    Do you believe that colours can affect our moods? Please give us some examples.

    Today, well visit Mrs. Rainbow, a colour therapist (颜色理疗家). She will tell us how to use colours to help people improve their health, mood and appearance.

    Step Two Read the advertisement on P 36 and answer the following questions

    1. What can colour therapy help us do?

    2. How much do I have to pay for 30 minutes of colour therapy?

    3. What can I do if colour therapy has no effect on me?

    4. Where is Mrs Rainbow’s colour therapy centre?

    5. Which channel will the programme on colour therapy be on?

    Read the advertisement again and try to fill in the blanks.

    Step Three Listen to the tape, and pay attention to the blanks that you cant fill in.

              Listen to the tape again and try to fill in the missing parts.

    Activity Three Listen to the tape of Part A3 twice and try to write down the questions.

                 Choose the correct answers, check and read them out.

    Activity Four Speak up

    Step One Listen to the conversation and answer the following questions:

    3. What does Andy decide to wear at last? Why?

        Read the conversation and try to act it out.

    Step Two Suppose your partner will go to a party, he (she) doesnt know what to wear. Please make a conversation using theirs as a model.
