          Jack Baines is a self-made millionaire, but his beginnings were very lowly. He was the youngest of eight children.          Mark Twain was a great writer. He was from the USA. He was born in 1835. He was also a famous speaker. He was famous for his sense of humour. Many people liked to listen to him talk because he liked to tell some interesting stories to make people laugh all the time.

       “I only drink water,” answered Mrs Jenkins. “I don’t like tea or coffee.”

       The doctor thought for a few seconds and then said, “Well, how about potatoes?”

       “Yes, I like them very much,” answered Mrs Jenkins.

       “All right, then stop eating those,” said the doctor as he got up to say goodbye to Mrs Jenkins.
