形容词和副词有三个等级： 原级、比较级、最高级原级：即形容词和副词的原形。 如： small, gd, pretty, big, many hard, happily, slwly, quickly比较级：两个人或物之间的比较。单音节词通常是-er结尾；多音节或部分双音节词通常在之前加mre. 如:smaller, taller, lder, harder mre interesting , mre quickly
最高级：三个或三个以上的人或物之间的比较。单音节词通常是-est结尾；双音节或部分多音节词通常在之前加mst.在形容词的最高级前必须加the；副词前可以不加。 如：smallest,tallest,newest mst interesting,mst difficultly
比较级A+be+比较级+than+B，表示“A比B更……” eg. Mary is much yunger than Marial.(2)可用much ,far ,a lt ,a little ,a bit,even, many 等修饰来加强语气. eg.Tday is even clder.(3)疑问词+动词+比较级,A r B?表示“A和B比较，哪一个更…… ” eg. Wh draws better ,Tm r Jim? Which is mre interesting ,maths r English?
(4) 比较级+ and + 比较级，表示“越来越…” eg. The days are getting shrter and shrter. Lucy is mre and mre beautiful.(5) the +比较级 , the + 比较级,表示“越…越…” eg. The harder yu study, the mre yu will get.(6)用比较级表示最高级①比较级+than any ther+单数名词，表示“比起任何一个更……” eg.Peter is strnger than any ther by in his class.②比较级+than the ther+复数名词，表示“比起其他所有的更……” eg.Peter is strnger than the ther bys in his class.
最高级常用结构“主语+be动词+the+形容词最高级（+名词）+in/f+比较范围”。一般情况下，如果主语与介词短语中的名词或指代词属于同一类，用f；如果不同类，则用in。eg.Tday is the httest day f the year. Mary is the tallest in the family . 多音节及部分双音节形容词最高级常用结构为“the mst+形容词原级（+名词）+比较范围”。eg.This is the mst delicius cake in the wrd.
