1.Key points:Ss can ask and express the sentences “What time is it?It’s one o’clock” in English.
2.Difficult points:How to express the time 10:30,9:45,2:15 (非整点时间)

【Teaching Procedure】
(一)warm up
1. Greeting
2. Sing a song together
T: before our class let’s sing a song together,
Please clap your hands when you are singing.
Purpose: Revising the existing knowledge
T:Everybody did very good job. Then I will perform a magic trick for you. Please guess who he is?
(此时用纹理笔慢慢的描绘出Mocky,让学生不停的猜,提高他们的学习兴趣,直到有同学说出:He is Mocky)
Ok, Let me give you some hints: “He is an important role in our text,So, Do you know Who he is?
Ss: He is Mocky.
T: so, the title of the Unit 8—Mocky is late.
T: Read after me please.
(二)Lead in
1. Lead up:
T: Today I will give you a present, it’s on the Whiteboard. Please guess what can you see on the Whiteboard?
S: I can see nothing.
T: everyone knows that every year our spring festival Gala Evening will invite a famous magician who comes from Taiwan, Do you know who he is?
S: He is Liu Qian
T: Do you like him? I like him also.
T: So, Let me make a magic trick for you like him.
显示电子白板上隐藏的时钟,逐步引导学生,最后把时钟“变”出来。
Purpose:抓住学生的好奇心,调动学生的积极性。
- 出示钟表图片,引导学生自行拼出“clock”这个单词。
Purpose:用字母自然拼读法要求学生自主拼读。
T:What time is it?
S: It’s one o’clock
拨动表盘 引导学生逐步说出 It’s one o’clock…..根据学生的实际情况随机说出12个表示整点的时间。采用分组读,分男女读、齐读的方式巩固练习。
- T: What’s the characteristics of the time we have just learned?
Summary:所学的是整点时间(自主总结)
3. T: So, How can we express the other time?
4.T:Booklet me teach you a simple method to express that---direct reading.
Through teaching of this part, demand the students master the way to express the time “fifteen ,thirty,forty-five”。(非整点时间)

Purpose:通过游戏的方式不仅可以提高学生学习的积极性,也可在轻松的氛围下复习巩固本课内容。
