The theme f this unit is “the weather”.Thrugh a series f activities and tasks,it aims t guide students t recgnize and understand different kinds f weather,cultivate their bservatin and descriptin skills,and at the same time stimulate their lve and participatin awareness fr activities in different weather.By explring the weather,activities,and feelings,this unit aims t help students establish emtinal cnnectins with the weather and the activities,at the same time t recgnize the imprtance f the weather in the ecsystem.

1.Master the wrds abut the weather and activity wrds invlved in this unit.
2.Be able t talk abut different activities in different weather arund the wrld in English,and describe a trip in different places.
3.Cultivate students' speaking expressin ability and language rganizatin ability.

2.Cultivate students' writing ability and creativity by writing a descriptin f the actins in different weather cnditins in English.

Activity 1 Warming up and revisin
T:Tday we are ging t learn Unit 6.First,let's lk at the title and the picture.What are we ging t learn in this unit?
Ss:We are ging t learn smething abut the weather.
T:Yes,yu're right.We are ging t learn abut different weather and the activities.Lk at the picture and share the three questins with me.
S1:I think the kids in the pht may feel excited because it lks like a rainy day but they can play utside.
T:Gd answer.What abut yu,S2?
S2:I dn't like rainy weather.I like sunny and warm weather best.I usually g fr a walk r play basketball in sunny weather…

Activity 2 Presentatin
T:Nw,let's wrk n 1a.There are sme pictures f weather descriptins here.Please write the wrds in the bx under the pictures.
(The teacher shws pictures,and students write dwn the weather descriptins:cludy,dry,lightning,strmy,windy.Then,play a guessing game.The teacher makes a mdel first.)
T:It is sunny.The temperature is very high and there is n water here.What adjective can yu think t describe it?
S:Dry?
T:Yes.
(Ask students t practise in pairs.)

S:It's strmy.The temperature is arund 20℃
The teacher can play several times t help students get exact answers and practise their listening.)
