During a cane ride ne night, I sat quietly fr almst an hur, trying t spt sme f the jungle’s creatures. With a flashlight, I finally saw squirrel mnkeys running alng tree branches. A crcdile eyed ur cane as it mved thrugh the water. On ur return t camp, I saw a large, hairy tarantula sitting n a tree stump (树桩).
Several native tribes make their hmes alng the banks f the Amazn River. Fr mst f them, their style f living has hardly changed in the past 4,000 years. I visited a village f the Yagua tribe.
