强调句是用于强调一个句子除了谓语以外的成分，可翻译为“正是……”
一、基本结构：【It is／was＋被强调部分＋that／wh＋句子的其余部分】
（1）如果被强调部分是人时，用连词that或wh；
It was Mike wh/that saw Jhn in the library last night.
正是Mike看到了Jhn昨天晚上在图书馆。
（2）如果被强调部分是物时，只能用连词that。
It is a new bike that my brther wants t buy. 他弟就是想买一架自行车。
【注意】：判断是否强调句句型的方法
若把 It 去掉后，句子意思，结构完整，这个句子就是强调句。
It was Jhn that/wh finished the task. 去掉此结构后→Jhn finished the task.
二、句型转换
1．一般疑问句：Is／Was it＋被强调的部分＋that／wh＋其他？
Was it at 7 that he set ff？他是在7点出发么？
2．特殊有疑问句：特殊疑问词 is／was it that＋其他？
When was it that he set ff？他是什么时候出发？
Where was it that yu were brn？ 你是在哪儿出生？
三、注意要点
1．was还是is？
①原句的动词是现在时的时态（如一般现在时，现在进行时，现在完成时等）选It
It is a new bike that my brther wants t buy.他弟就是想买一架自行车。
②动词是过去时的相关时态（一般过去时，过去进行时，过去完成时等）选 It
It was Mary wh/that met an ld beggar yesterday. 是Marry在昨天看到了这个乞丐。
强调含有nt．．．until（直到...才）的句子，即“It is（was）＋nt until 从句＋that＋主句。”
I didn't realize she was a famus star until she tk ff the hat.
直到她脱下帽子，我才认出她是明星。
It was nt until she tk ff the hat that I realize she was a famus star.
