Hw t Strengthen Yur Happiness Muscle
    By Jenny Taitz
We've all experienced it: the urge t withdraw and duck experiences we knw we'll enjy. We skip the birthday party. We cancel lunch. And then, mre likely than nt, we feel wrse than we did befre.
S hw d yu find the mtivatin t get ut there, especially when yu're feeling lw, stressed, tired r lnely? One prven strategy is t strengthen what psychlgists call yur reward sensitivity.
Our drive t seek ut happiness is a muscle that we can develp. T raise yur reward sensitivity, yu can try an exercise. Begin by planning ne activity per day that will make yu happy r give yu a sense f accmplishment. Be realistic — it can be as small as treating yurself t a favrite snack, reading a few pages f a nvel r FaceTiming a friend.
After yu've enjyed that daily mment, clse yur eyes and recunt ut lud where and when yu experienced the greatest jy. Hme in n details and physical sensatins. The idea isn't just t remember hw yu felt, but t amplify and reexperience it.
Savring als helps cunteract the very human tendency t fcus n and remember negative aspects f an event.

根据第三段“Hwever, scientists believe that weather is a part f the prblem. Unusually shaped cluds abve the area create strng winds that g dwn int the water, creating huge tsunami waves that can take dwn bats r lw-flying planes. And many researchers believe that there’s n mystery at all. Ship ges dwn and plane accidents happen all ver the wrld. It just seems t happen mre in the Bermuda Triangle because there’s mre traffic.(然而,科学家们认为天气是问题的一部分。
根据第四段“The Bermuda Triangle is als ne f the deepest areas f the Atlantic, with sme areas being 8 km deep. S, remains are hard t find, which makes the disappearances seem even mre mysterius.(百慕大三角也是大西洋最深的海域之一,有些地方的深度达到8公里。 故选A项。
根据文章第一段“Fr years, peple have believed that an area f the Atlantic Ocean between Bermuda, Puert Ric and Flrida, USA was a dangerus place. They thught planes and bats passing thrugh here were likely t disappear. By 1964, a writer had called the area the “Bermuda Triangle”. The name stuck, and s did the mystery.(多年来,人们一直认为位于百慕大、波多黎各和美国佛罗里达州之间的大西洋区域是一个危险的地方。 故选A项。
根据第二段中“Even befre this famus flight, several ships had disappeared in these waters. Peple had many different ideas abut why this happened. Sme peple even believed that a huge ctpus was respnsible!(在这次著名的飞行之前,已经有好几艘船在这一带海域失踪了。
