Research n classrm-based grup wrk reveals a paradx (悖论): while cperative learning can be highly effective, merely placing children in grups ften prves unprductive. T ensure effective grup wrk, teachers must first raise students’ awareness f the purpse and value f grup activities. This invlves cnsidering everyne’s viewpints, justifying pinins with reasns, and making cllective decisins. In Explratry Talk, participants engage critically but cnstructively with each ther’s ideas, invite cntributins, and seek further explanatins.
Successful cperatin requires a reasned discussin, which can be facilitated by establishing a set f ‘Grund Rules’ fr Explratry Talk. These rules guide behavirs such as asking fr infrmatin, seeking and prviding reasns, and evaluating prpsals. Grund Rules help children wrk twards jint cnclusins, respect pinins, and develp their ideas. Fr instance, children learn t ask, “What d yu think? Why?” and listen attentively t each ther’s respnses, reaching reasned cnclusins.
Explratry Talk enhances grup activities as a pwerful learning tl. Certain activities, like Talking Pints, are particularly effective in stimulating such discussins. Talking Pints are inspiring statements designed t encurage children t share their knwledge and uncertainties n a specific tpic. Research indicates that Talking Pints bring abut mre imaginative and extensive respnses than traditinal questins. They help children fcus n the tpic and cmpare their viewpints with thers’. As they discuss, children realize that their ideas can develp with new evidence and that classmates are valuable resurces fr new thinking. With prper guidance, the students will sn begin t see their ideas flwing. And gradually they will learn t participate fully nt nly in educatin but als in life as well.

A. Active interactin amng teachers.

33. Why shuld Grund Rules be set fr the students?
A. T ppularize grup activities.
B. T build up their individuality.
C. T stimulate mre prpsals.
D. T encurage reasning in talks.
34. What can be inferred frm the last paragraph?

B. Traditinal questins shuld be avided in classes.
