    China has stepped up its cnstructin f "beautiful bays" in 1 effrt t cnserve its marine eclgy and envirnment.
    The Ministry f Eclgy and Envirnment has issued a plan 2 (build) mre than 110 bays acrss the cuntry by 2027. These bays will achieve harmny between peple and the marine envirnment, with the ministry nting that "clear water and clean 3 (beach), and shals f fish and flcks f seabirds" will be seen.
    The 110 figure will accunt 4 abut 40 percent f China's majr bays, accrding t the ministry. The plan als sets the gal f transfrming seven cities, including Xiamen, int mdel znes 5 all castal areas can be classed as beautiful bays.
    It details three tasks, including the prtectin and 6 (restre) f typical marine ecsystems, and the imprvement f key sewage utlets that empty int the sea. The ministry said that China's lng-term gal is t build all 283 f 7 (it) majr bays int beautiful bays by 2035, with that figure including the 110 utlined in the plan.
