    Befre the explsin, as an engineer, building things was a hbby in his spare time. When he saw that a freign engineer had
    develped an autnmus e-bike, he fund the materials nline and decided t build ne himself. It tk him mre than a year t finally
    make it, but he was nt satisfied and, in January 2020, he tried t better it. “I tried t use larger parts t make the self-driving functin
    mre dependable, but I made a mistake and the explsin ccurred,” Liang recalls.
    “Physical recvery is the first step. Psychlgical acceptance matters mre, which takes much lnger,” Liang says. Liang’s fcus is
    nw n making the new leg cmfrtable. T knw abut the structure and system f the prsthetics better, he disassembled sme
    secndhand prsthetic limbs that were made in China and abrad, which cst him hundreds f thusands f yuan. “I want t let mre
    peple knw abut these high-tech prsthetics, which are cmfrtable and safer t wear. It can build cnfidence with every step,” Liang
    says.

    in a stre, which can help the custmers find items and help guide them t the prduct’ s lcatin in the stre. It can als speak
    different languages and make recmmendatins fr different items based n what the custmer is shpping fr.
    The mre interactin the rbt has with humans, the mre it learns. But Oshbt, like ther scial rbts, is nt intended t replace
    wrkers, but t wrk alngside ther emplyees. “ We have technlgies t train scial rbts t d things nt fr us, but with us,”
    said Breazeal.
