Sun Xiajun was brn in a small village in Guizhu. When he was 9, he gt hurt while playing basketball and later dctrs fund he had a serius prblem s that they had t have his right leg amputated (截肢). "It was really unlucky fr me and my family. I disliked studying befre the amputatin. But my father tld me that I culd nly find a jb by studying hard since I wuld nt be able t farm like him," said Sun.
The yung by faced life bravely and made up his mind t study hard. In2006, he went t study in Huazhng University f Science and Technlgy in Wuhan. In 2009, he went t study at Japan's Thku University.
"I started t wear a prsthesis (假肢) tw years after I began studying in Japan, said Sun. The experience wasn't very cmfrtable fr him because the knee f the prsthesis didn't bend (弯曲). He wuld smetimes fall ver when he tried t walk t fast.
Sun came up with the idea fr a smart prsthesis in 2013 while he was studying at the University f Tky.He did many researches n it. After years f hard wrk. he succeeded. In rder t help mre peple with disabilities enjy life, Sun started BinicM in Shenzhen in 2018.
