S that was exactly what we did. He made sme calls t get the needed parts. While the truck gt fixed, this man’s sn, a kid f abut 9 r 10, was hanging arund. There were n kids nearby his age, and he was eager fr any kind f interactin, even with tw guys in their 20s. He said, “Want t see my treehuse?”, pinting t the wds ut back. My brther and I lked at each ther, shrugged, and replied, “Sure.”
We ended up spending tw hurs with this kid, helping him build his treehuse. When we were dne, we went back t the huse and the truck was all fixed. My brther and I had maybe $60 in cash n us and tried t pay the man but he refused, “N, Yu dn’t need t pay me.
