根据文章最后一段“Hwever, mst languages die tday because f ther factrs; climate change and urbanizatin cntribute greatly t the extinctin f languages.(然而,今天大多数语言因为其他因素而消亡;气候变化和城市化是语言灭绝的重要原因)”及全文内容可知,文章讲述了世界上的语言由于多种因素消失严重,Bgre Udell和Frederic Andrade建立一个项目试图去记录这些语言。

根据倒数第二段中““We already knew that sharks are ne f the mst threatened grups in the cean,” they said. “They are als very vulnerable due t their large size and lw reprductive rate. Everyne gets verwhelmed frm time t time, but yu can still d smething t handle this negative emtin.(当你不知所措的时候,你会觉得事情太多了无法处理。 Here are sme tips t help yu get yur life back tgether when yu feel cmpletely verwhelmed.(当你感到不知所措时,这里有一些建议可以帮助你恢复生活。)
.根据空前“The first thing yu need t d when yu feel flded r verwhelmed is t slw everything dwn.(当你感到事情太多或不知所措时,你需要做得第一件事就是慢下来。)”可知当自己面对太多的事情而茫然不知所措时最好现让自己慢下来,根据空后“yu will have mre time t fcus n the present and thus d things mre leisurely.(你将有更多的时间专注于现在,从而更悠闲地做事情。)” When yu slw dwn, it is as if yu have put the brakes n.(当你减速时,就好像你踩了刹车。) Yu will have mre time t fcus n the present衔接紧密,符合上下文语境。故选C项。
根据空后“If yu’re wndering hw t get yur life tgether, it’s time t reflect n what led t the stress. 19.根据本段标题“Release, regrup, and redirect.(释放、重组、重新定向)”可知本段主要强调在你不知所措时要做到释放、重组和重新定向,根据空前“It’s easier said than dne, but when it cmes t feeling verwhelmed, the best thing yu can d is let it g. The release f the surce f feeling verwhelmed is critical t the “getting my life back tgether” cmpnent f this prcess.(说起来容易做起来难,但当你感到不知所措时,你能做得最好的事情就是放手。 可知当你感到不知所措时,要学会放手,根据空后“Regruping is imprtant because it allws yu t clse the feedback lp(循环)n all the slwing dwn, stepping back, reflecting and releasing.(重新组合很重要,因为它能让你在所有的慢下来、后退、反思和释放中关闭反馈循环。)” Anther thing yu have t d befre getting yur life back tgether is regrup.(在你的生活重新回到正轨之前,你必须做的另一件事是重组。)
指出在你不知所措时要在做到释放、重组之后要做到重新定向,根据空后“Even if yur trajectry(轨道)nly slightly altered its curse, that’s OK! What is imprtant is that yu have prcessed integrated, and learned frm yur life s that yu are better prepared fr the future and mre equipped t face it.(即使你的轨迹只是稍微改变了一下,也没关系! This desn’t necessarily mean yu must mve in a ttally new directin.(这并不意味着你必须朝着一个全新的方向前进。)
