A research team frm China's Nrthwest University is develping facial recgnitin (面部识别) technlgy t identify (识别) thusands f Sichuan glden mnkeys that live in Qinling Muntains in Shanxi Prvince.
Similar t human facial recgnitin, the technlgy that is used t identify mnkeys uses their facial features t create a database (数据库) that includes every mnkey.
"When the system is fully develped, we can cnnect it with cameras set up in the muntains. The system will autmatically (自动地) recgnize the mnkeys, name them and analyze (分析) their behaviur," said Zhang He, a member f the research team.
"Fr each mnkey, we have 700 t 800 image samples, and the rate f successful recgnitin is 94 percent," Zhang added.
Cmpared with facial recgnitin technlgy fr humans, facial recgnitin technlgy fr mnkeys is mre cmplicated because mnkeys have hairier faces. The clr f their hair causes them t get mixed up in their envirnment. These make it harder fr cmputers t d the jb.
"The wild envirnment is cmplicated, and glden mnkeys d nt cperate with the prcess in the same way humans d. It is difficult t take high-quality pictures and vides f them, which are needed t imprve the system," said Li Bagu, leader f the research team.

The newly app（应用程序）"Limited Screen Time" designed by Thmas Black Cmpany is cming ut tday. "Limited Screen Time" is a simple app that allws yu t set limits n the time yur children use an iPhne r iPad.
Backgrund
Parents are wrried abut the length f time that tday's children spend n screen. And lng screen time is ne f the reasns why kids are shrt-sighted. "Limited Screen Time" is a simple way t help set and cntrl limits t yur children's time with an iPhne and iPad.

Step One, use yur finger acrss the clck t set the time. Step Tw, set the user by typing n the "Users". Step Three, press "Start".

Parents are wrried abut the length f time that tday's children spend n screen. And lng screen time is ne f the reasns why kids are shrt-sighted. "Limited Screen Time" is a simple way t help set and cntrl limits t yur children's time with an iPhne and iPad.
Hw Des It Wrk?
Step One, use yur finger acrss the clck t set the time. Step Tw, set the user by typing n the "Users". Step Three, press "Start".
Step Fur, pass yur iPhne r iPad t yur child and let them use the phne any way yu chse（e. g. apps, mvies, music）.
What Happens Next?
After yu set the time, the device（装置）will receive a set f messages warming yur children that "Yur screen time is up". Yur children will be unable t cntinue using the phne until the passcde（密码）is crrectly entered.
