After returning t high schl,I learned very slwly.I had t decide whether r nt t cmplete the twelfth grade in 2 years.Thinking I wuld fail if I chse t d it in ne year,finally I made my decisin.The staff at schl were very supprtive and helped me thrugh the rugh times.Finally,I graduated frm high schl.Graduating frm high schl was a huge achievement fr me.That was an pprtunity fr me t be really prud f just hw far I had cme with all the dds I had t beat.
I can nw walk,talk,dress myself,feed myself and be the independent persn I am tday.I have achieved my VCE and I am nw at university,studying t be a scial wrker.I have been a schlarship winner.I have becme a life-lng member f the lcal musical band.All f these achievements are beynd my imaginatin.Nw I am even in a nvel called SecndChances by Neil Mitchall.
I culd have easily listened t the dctrs when I first had my strke,but I decided I was ging t prve them wrng as they did nt knw me,nr did they knw just hw determined I wuld be.
